Infrastructure
Introduction
The college building came-up at Dombivli (East) providing spacious and airy class rooms, well equipped laboratories, established modern library, spacious reading rooms, instrument rooms, aseptic rooms, canteen, recreation centre, counseling centre ,Hostel Facilities for boys and girls are available adjacent to the college with canteen arrangements.
A well planned garden with spacious lawn and plants are conspicuously provided to add to its aesthetic look.
Faculty
The faculty meets more than the norms prescribed by AICTE and the University of Mumbai with versatility in teaching. To enhance the appeal and effectiveness of teaching, computer aided teaching and multimedia CD’s are generally used, Guest lectures are arranged on regular basis wherein the veterans and experts from Pharmaceutical field share their expertise.
Pharmaceutical Laboratories
Eight well equipped spacious laboratories which helps the students gain practical knowledge in all branches of Pharma education. Taking into consideration, the requirements of laboratory, animals like mice, rats, guinea-pigs, frogs, etc. for conducting experiments, a modest animal house is setup. A laboratory for conducting tests of drugs by Food & Drug Administration has been planned and provided.
Research Laboratory
At the auspicious hands of Reagents Professor Emeritus Dr. Victor Hruby from University of Arizona an exclusive research lab namely Sri Devi Kulkarni Research lab was inaugurated in the year 2007-08 for encouraging the research activities in the college. The laboratories are well equipped, the college has plans to procure sophisticated instruments like High Pressure Liquid Chromatograph (HPLC), Gas Chromatograph, Physiographic, NMR Spectrophotometer, Mass Spectrophotometer etc.
Computer Laboratory
More than normed complements of Computers have been provided for students, networked on LAN system.
Library
The library provides all reference books, journals and international magazines necessary for quality study. The students have easy access to the internet for exploring global knowledge.
Counseling & Placement
Well qualified counselor has been appointed in our Career Guidance Center. Career counseling for students is an important activity which is followed up by placement services to best possible extent for every outgoing batches.
Training
Seminars, Workshops, Guest lectures are arranged from time to time to equip students with leadership qualities, communication skill, R & D orientation and marketing skill. A Multi Media Room is also being set with sophisticated Technical Aids for exclusive training.
Medicinal Garden
A garden is specially set up within college campus to afford better understanding about plants of medicinal use, under the guidance of M/s. Zandu Pharmaceuticals Ltd.
Gymkhana
A well-equipped Gymkhana has been provided for students.
Canteen
A well stocked hygienic canteen for students and staff members.
Transport Facility
Bus facility available for to and fro journey between Railway station and the College.
Other Amenities
Well equipped separate common rooms for boys and girls. Sufficient space provided for games and sports and other extra curricular activities.
