Bachelor of Pharmacy ( B.Pharm )


Passed H.S.C. ( Std. XII ) Examination of Maharashtra State Board of Secondary & Higher Secondary Education or its equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Mathematics and English as subjects with minimum 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry & Biology / Mathematics (45 for backward class candidates from Maharashtra).

Appeared for the Maharashtra Pharmacy Common Entrance Test (MAH-PH-CET-2009) conducted by the competent Authority and secured non-zero score.

For admissions under Management seats, the eligibility is same as above. Admissions will be strictly as per the merit of the candidates. Admission notification will be given in the leading newspapers.

For the candidates outside Maharashtra state / J & K and under reserved quota the rules are as prescribed by the Directorate of Technical Education.

Schedule of the Course.

In order to obtain the B. Pharm degree, a candidate is required to pass eight examinations viz. the first and second semesters of each of first, second, third and fourth year. The first semester of first, second and third years are conducted by college and the second semester of first, second and third years and both semesters of final year are conducted by the University of Mumbai.

To ensure uniform attention of the students to their work throughout the course of their study, the marks at each of the above-mentioned examinations are awarded jointly on the basis of the semester examination and periodic tests. 70% of the marks are allotted to the final examinations and 30% of marks to the periodic tests.

There is one periodic test in each semester for theory as well as for practical. To pass each semester, the candidate must obtain at least:

- 40% of marks in each theory head.

- 40% of marks in each practical head.

- 50% of total marks assigning to whole examination.
