Admission
Admission for B. Pharm and M. Pharm will be done as per A.I.C.T.E., Government of Maharashtra and University of Mumbai rules. Medium of instruction shall be English.
For Admissions to B.Pharm First Year
The admissions will be done by Centralized Allotment Process (CAP) by Directorate of Technical Education, Maharashtra State, Mumbai. If vacancies exist thereafter, the seats will be filled at college level.
Maharashtra State candidates
Candidates passing HSC (Std. XII) examination of Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education or its equivalent examination with subjects English, Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics / Biology & should have secured minimum 50% marks (45% for backward class candidates from Maharashtra state only) in Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics / Biology added together.
AND
Qualified in MAH-PH-CET2009 for Pharmacy Degree Course conducted by the Competent Authority securing a non - zero score. For admissions through management seats criteria is as above. Admissions for the management seat would be strictly done on merit basis. Notification would be given in leading newspapers.
a. OMS candidates(including J&K)
Rules are as prescribed by the Directorate of Technical Education.
b. For direct admissions to second year B.Pharm
Diploma holders who have passed the diploma course in Pharmacy with minimum of 60% marks and above are eligible. Applications are submitted through DTE. Vacancies after allotment would be filled up at institutional level as per merit list.
c. OMS candidates(including J&K) For Direct Admission to B. Pharm Second Year
Diploma holders who have passed the Minimum three years diploma course in Pharmacy with minimum of 60% marks and medium of instruction as English from the pharmacy colleges outside Maharashtra State.
The candidate should have passed in First Class/First Class with Condonation, post HSC diploma course in Pharmacy( As per ER-91 regulation of PCI) from an institution approved by AICTE and of The Maharashtra State Board of Technical Education(MSBTE).
OR
Any other recognized diploma equivalent to the diploma awarded by the Maharashtra State Board of Technical Education (MSBTE) with English as the medium of instruction at diploma level.
OR
Any other AICTE approved institution which has been granted academic autonomy by the Government of Maharshtra or University in the State of Maharashtra.
Such candidates shall produce Equivalence certificate from MSBTE, 4th floor, Govt. Polytechnic Building, 49, Kherwadi, Ali Yavar Jung Marg, Bandra (E), Mumbai-400051 (http://www.msbte.com) at the time of confirmation of application form at ARC.
For Admission to M. Pharm First Year
Admission are done on the basis of merit list with preference of GATE students as per the rules and regulation of AICTE, Government of Maharashtra and Mumbai University rules. The admissions will be done at college level.
For General, Non-Sponsored Seats Candidate should be Bachelor of Pharmacy from AICTE approved institute with minimum 60% marks. GATE qualified candidates will be preferred. In case GATE qualified candidate are not available, admission will be given to those who are not GATE qualified on merit basis.
OR
Any other AICTE approved institution which has been granted academic autonomy by the Government of Maharshtra or University in the State of Maharashtra.

For General, Non-Sponsored Seats.
Candidate should be Bachelor of Pharmacy from AICTE approved institute with minimum 60% marks. "GPAT with CET" qualified candidates will be preferred. In case "GPAT with CET" qualified candidate are not available, admission will be given to those who are not GATE qualified on merit basis.
For Sponsored Seats
Candidate should be Bachelor of Pharmacy from AICTE approved institute with minimum 60% marks (55% marks for teachers, who have joined before 22/11/93, from any PCI approved pharmacy institute). Preference will be given to those candidates who are GATE qualified. The candidate should preferably have a minimum of two years’ full time work experience after graduation in registered/recognized firm/company/industry/educational and research institute / any government departments in the relevant field. (A letter from the employer must be furnished stating that the candidate is being sponsored to get admission. The employer should also indicate that the candidate will not be withdrawn midway till the completion of the course. The sponsorship letter must accompany the application form. The relieving letter from the employer must be submitted at the time of admission.).
For Reserved Seats (SC/ST)
Candidate should be Bachelor of Pharmacy from AICTE approved institute with minimum 55% marks. Candidate belonging to this category must attach the caste certificate with certificate of validity.
There will be two merit lists, one each for sponsored and non-sponsored category including reservations. All the admissions are subject to the approval from Directorate of Technical Education, Maharashtra State, Mumbai and University of Mumbai.
